The contraction sounds like it might have originated in a bad newspaper hyphenation, but it probably didn't. I blog, we blog The verb to blog is intransitive. That is, Brigitte doesn't blog eatonweb, she simply blogs. The first Web tool that arose to aid in the endeavors of wannabe bloggers is called, of course, Blogger. Ultimately - all blogs die.
